The Free Kick Ladder always gets a fair bit of interest.
But what about the free kick numbers when it comes to individuals?
It’s time to shed some light on which players have the best free kick differentials and who has the worst.
Check out the latest numbers after Round 8.
The best differentials
Hawthorn’s Dylan Moore, who had a differential of +23 last year, sits on top of the list on +15 after receiving 18 free kicks and giving away only three.
Below him is Gold Coast bull Matt Rowell on +13 having received the most frees in the league with 27.
Third is Brisbane’s Josh Dunkley on +12 having given away just one free kick with Rowell’s Suns teammate Will Graham fourth on +10 without a free against.
Rounding out the top five is a group of players on +9 made up of a trio of captains - Carlton’s Patrick Cripps, Essendon’s Zach Merrett and Port Adelaide’s Connor Rozee - as well as Gold Coast’s Tom Berry and Collingwood’s Josh Daicos.

The worst differentials
At the other end of the scale, surprise surprise, is GWS captain Toby Greene who has the worst differential with -11.
Behind him is Giants teammate Kieren Briggs on -10 with a trio of players behind that pair on -9 including Adelaide ruckman Reilly O’Brien, Gold Coast’s Nick Holman and Richmond’s Kamdyn McIntosh, who is yet to receive a free kick in 2024.
On the next line is five players on -8 made up of Blues wingman Blake Acres, Melbourne’s Harrison Petty, Bulldogs defender Ed Richards, Brisbane’s Callum Ah Chee and Tigers veteran Dylan Grimes, who also hasn’t won a free kick this year.

Rowell’s 27 is comfortably the most in 2024 so far, clear of Grundy with Soligo and Xerri not far behind.
