So who won?

Surely it would have to be Mumford. From 3rd choice ruckman to Geelong to the 40 man All-Australian squad.

There're plenty of young players who are going to be great for years to come but in terms of who was the most valuable recruit in season 2010, the award would have to go to Darren Jolly.

Whoops. I mixed up the recruit of the year with the Rising Star award.

How did Henderson get the nod ahead of Jarryd Blair? Blair had 28 disposals and kicked two goals on the week end.

It's between Jolly and Hall at the moment.

Hmm. I'm not convinced about the J-Pod yet. I suspect he might be a bit of a down hill skier. It's easy to kick goals when the Cat midfielders are doing as they please at Skilled Stadium, but lets if J-Pod can stand up against decent oppostion. He certainly didn't the other night against the Saints.

Darren, you are so right. Pods could have been the last piece of the puzzle at Dog land 2 years ago. I can't see why the Dogs didn't give him a go. Good luck to him, GO PODS

It's Jordie McKenzie!

I am very happy for the Pod cant believe the Western Bulldogs didn't pick him up years ago they have had pently of chances too. He has been sitting right under the Bulldog's nose's for years \ at the Werribee Tigers kicking bags of goals. Good luck Pod you deserve it.
