Need to know full story

It's hard to know what to make of the latest controversy surrounding Brendan Fevola.

He's done some stupid, crazy and immature actions in the past - his rap sheet is long.

His club, Brisbane, has suspended him indefinitely following allegations he exposed himself to a woman.

Most comment pieces today are damning of Fevola and his future as an AFL player could be over, yet he denies the allegations he faces.

It's been reported former teammate Troy Selwood is prepared to back Fevola's version of events.

His management, Velocity Sports, also categorically says its client denies any inappropriate behaviour.

It's hard to pass judgement without knowing the full story.

this last complaint against fev stinks. brisbane dont want him and r looking for ways to get rid of him without paying him.. i bet this is the setup of the century .. if i was fev i would sue the brisbane footy club .. this brisbane lions club r a joke .. what ppl do to avoid a big payout. we all know fev what his like but this woman that no one knows should be looked into. who is she . is she linked to the brisbane lions anyway whats her past . do a full police check on her. she would be getting some payment from brisbane if this hustle is carried out.

If the Lions tried to sack him without pay he would have no option but to sue the club, they are not that dumb (I hope).

How have the Lions manufactured anything BigSaint? They suspended him because of the pending investigation. To be honest, your just talking crapt.

Obviously big Fev isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but this does sound a little off. I'm guessing the Brisbane Lions have manufactured part of the story and are looking for a way out given his mediocre performance and hefty wage.

I,m so sick of football people sticking up for Brendon Fevola...He has done the wrong thing several times but keeps getting away with it. It's time he took resposibility for his actions....he never seems to learn. Even if he is depressed it does not gve him the right to do what he did. There are other people in society with depression but they don't do the things hes done. He should be kicked out of football and should seek councelling.

Fev is obviously very irresponsible at times but this doesn't sound right.. how could he expose himself to a woman at lunch time in a park and doing this while not under the influence of alcohol
