How can the rain make the Bulldog's more of a chance against the Magpies? Football skill will always prevail in such conditions. The Magpies have demonstrated better skill, time and again throughout the year with a record of 17 wins, 4 losses and a draw, to get them to top position in 2010. The Bulldogs are plagued by injuries to some big names that won't be playing. They're taking a risk by playing Johnston, Griffen and Higgins, given their questionable fitness and suspected injuries. The wet weather and heavier ground will make it tougher for these three to move around easily at best. If they lack match fitness or are injured, will they see out the match? Questionable. Playing with an injury may curtail their effectiveness on the ground. The Magpies have also proven that they tackle very well. As the ball will be on the ground more often in the wet, this will put added pressure on the Bulldog's. Collingwood will win as unfortunately, the Bulldogs are in a different class.
