Peering through The Glass I see a few late starts to work this week as hardcore sports fans across the country are finally able to get some sleep.

It’s been two months since any of us have been to bed at ‘normal’ hours.

After a 5 week fling with the World Cup it was followed by a 3 week love fest with the world’s greatest cycling event, Le Tour.

And last night, Alberto Contador at 27, won his 3rd Tour as the riders cruised down the Champs Elysees.

His battle with Andy Schleck throughout the Tour was absolutely enthralling. A true test of mental strength as well as the physical type.

For those a little skeptical on how exciting a bike race can be, give the 2011 version a chance, and be a part of the globes greatest sporting coverage.

Vive Le Tour! And long live a good nights sleep.
