Mark Doran
THE GOOD OIL, 12-4pm Monday Friday, is a news and issue based four hours of sport hosted by former Channel Seven and Fox Footy reporter/commentator Mark Doran.
“Make no mistake I love nothing more that kicking back for a relaxed, fireside chat, but 18 years as a journalist in newspapers, television and radio certainly means that if there’s smoke, I’m out after the fire,” Mark admits.
“Being paid to share your passion with the people of the sports capital of the world it an amazing job and that’s what SEN is to the team on THE GOOD OIL.”
Regular Good Oilers include Australian representatives Nicole Livingston, Rodney Hogg, Andrew Gaze, Sharelle McMahon and Chris Anstey. Footballers Brad Green, Andrew Thompson, Brent Harvey, Nick Holland and the Herald-Sun’s Mark Robinson. Global sporting gurus Carlos Alberto Diego and Ed Wyatt and comedians Des Dowling and Rippa Rita.
THE GOOD OIL also provides the Ultimate news, sport and weather Update each day along with the obligatory quiz plus the Feature Thursday hour.
“That is one of my favorite segments each week, walking through the life and loves of legends like Bart Cummings, Heather McKay, singer-songwriter Paul Kelly and
Bob Skilton is boys own annual stuff,” Mark says.
