KB's Take | Dogs to bury the Swans' season tonight

2017-06-08T09:50+10:00

I’m still thinking, in what is such a tight year, that come September 30 it’ll be a GWS Giants and Western Bulldogs Grand Final.

That being the case, the Dogs will beat the Swans tonight, for the Bulldogs impressed me before the bye in beating finals aspirant St Kilda by 40 points.

The Dogs just wear down their opposition.

They don’t give up, they keep the pressure on and hunt in packs.

It’s strange, but the Dogs are yet to hit their straps in 2017 and coach Luke Beveridge brings back in premiership players in Matty Boyd, Fletcher Roberts and Toby McLean and has given Travis Cloke another chance.

I love the way Mitch Wallis, Luke Dahlhaus, Marcus Bontempelli, Jackson Macrae and Lachie Hunter keep getting the job done in the midfield for if you knock 'em down, they get straight up, take a deep breath and then go again.

Beveridge has made certain there is no I in team at the Bulldogs.

I’m a fan and they’ll completely bury the Swans' 2017 season tonight on a wet and soggy SCG.

I’m KB, that’s my take.
