SEN news breaker Sam McClure says that he has heard word from St Kilda that they are not chasing Melbourne tall forward Jack Watts.
Former Saints chief executive Brian Waldron wrote on Twitter yesterday that he had heard St Kilda have an interest in the 26-year-old former number one draft pick, after also hearing that Watts and fellow Demon Christian Salem were being put on the trade table in an effort to secure the leverage required to make a trade deal for Adelaide defender Jake Lever work.
Hear demons have put Watts and Salem on the table to Free up room for jake Lever arrival. Time will tell

Well Salem has ok speed and skills so possibly. Might be better options. Am told tonight Saints have interest in Watts.

However the journalist for The Age says that having spoken with current St Kilda CEO Ameet Bains, the link between the Demon and the Saints can be immediately ended.
“I know there has been whispers about Jack Watts being linked to the St Kilda footy club. Well in the last half an hour I have made contact with Ameet Bains and that there is no interest from St Kilda for Jack Watts,” McClure told SEN’s The Super Box.
“We can put that one to bed.”
