Adelaide coach Don Pyke has confirmed forward Mitch McGovern will miss Saturday’s Grand Final.
McGovern has been fighting a hamstring injury he sustained in training in the lead-up to the Preliminary Final.
"Unfortunately he [McGovern] won't come up, it's an opportunity for someone else," Pyke said on Wednesday.
Andy Otten is a chance to keep his spot, while Wayne Milera is on the verge of selection.
According to Lee Gaskin of AFL Media, McGovern took place in warm-ups and general field kicking, but then failed to participate in a forwards drill, before watching the Crows replicate a game situation.
McGovern has kicked 20 goals in 13 games this season.
