KB's Take | Richmond is now in a class of its own

2017-10-25T09:20+11:00

I feel sorry for the AFL competition.

It’s nearly been made redundant.

The all-conquering Richmond is now in a class of its own.

Record merchandise sales has brought in five-million bucks to the club and it’s just a formality that the Tigers will have 90,000 members in 2018, and all their games will be sold out.

For the club has no debt and has a suitcase of big marquee games to play.

The game has to find games of interest for the competition to give fans something else to cheer for other than the Tigers.

There is a game in China that’s good for a few pars.

And North Melbourne will play Gold Coast at Cazaly Stadium in Cairns, that will be exciting for the locals.

And of course the JLT practice match series will have to satisfy the appetite of most fans.

And of course the killer diller is AFLX which will give supporters something to cheer about whilst waiting for the Tigers to win the flag again in 2018, 19, 20 and 21

A five-peat.

And remember we never get ahead of ourselves.

We don’t eat em alive, we ate em alive!’

It’s Tiger Time!

I’m KB, that’s my take.
