In the lead-up to the 2018 local footy league seasons, SEN will be dissecting a number of competitions. Today, we take a look at the Geelong Football League.

Super signings: Billy Smedts, Tom Ruggles (Leopold), Louis Herbert (South Barwon), Sam Darley (North Shore), Mathew Stokes (Lara), David Handley (Geelong West Giants), Luke Maddock (Newtown & Chilwell), Josh Hovey, Lucas Anderson (St Joseph’s), Joffy Simpkin, Tom Simpkin (Colac), Josh Cowan (St Mary’s).

Premier: St Joseph’s.

Watch out for: The ascending North Shore to flirt with a finals berth before missing out on percentage.

SEN says:

Premier: Leopold.

Watch out for: End-of-season agro as the bottom two clubs are cut from the herd in the AFL Barwon restructure.
