In the lead-up to the 2018 local footy league seasons, SEN will be dissecting a number of competitions. Today, we take a look at the Yarra Ranges Football League.

Super signings: Jacob Castricum (Emerald), Rohan Heasley, Justin Van Unen, Dave Barton, Sam Wettenhall (Wandin), Sam Waters, Brad Neil, David Bell (Upwey Tecoma), Kris Fletcher, Ash Beck, Jackson Bennett (Monbulk), Heath Hocking (Olinda Ferny Creek).

Coaching merry-go-round: Warburton Millgrove (Vinnie Muccitelli).

League Insider says:

Premier: Olinda Ferny Creek.

Watch out for: Emerald to deliver a few surprises. It is building a good, young list and should be firmly in the mid-table mix.

SEN says:

Premier: Wandin.

Watch out for: Healesville, the 2016 premier and a preliminary finalist last year, to take a few steps backwards after losing depth from its group.
