Port Adelaide youngster Sam Powell-Pepper is under investigation due to assault allegations, according to Seven News in Adelaide.
“Port Adelaide football club has launched an investigation into allegations rising star Sam Powell-Pepper assaulted a young women at a city nightclub on the weekend,” the Seven News Adelaide report said.
“The alleged victim says he stuck his hands up her skirt and Seven News understands he may be stood down from playing this week.”
Port Adelaide has released the following statement:
"Port Adelaide is investigating an allegation one of its players was involved in an incident at an Adelaide bar on Sunday morning.
"The club has advised the AFL and will not be making further comment until it has all the information at hand."
