Richmond legend Kevin Bartlett has made the bold claim that Tim English will be the best ruckman in the game in a few years.
The young Bulldogs tall has shown signs so far this season that he has something special in him, but Bartlett is ready to call it now.
“This young kid, in a few years time, we’re talking about Grundy and Naitanui now, this young kid more than likely will be the best ruckman in the competition,” Bartlett told the AFL Nation pre-game show.
“He’s got great athleticism, he’s got beautiful skills, he just needs a bit more experience and a bit more weight and size.
"In a couple of years he could be one of the absolute stars of the competition."
English had 24 hit-outs, 16 disposals and took seven marks yesterday against the Swans.
He also re-signed with the Western Bulldogs through to the end of 2020.
