Gossage: "Something could happen at 9am this morning, you just don't know"

2018-05-10T07:16+10:00

West Australian newsman Tim Gossage still believes anything could still happen with this Ross Lyon situation.

Further details continue to come to light regarding Lyon and the hush money paid and Gossage said the club is still working out what to do.

“My phone went off three times last night from 6pm and said there’s an off-site board meeting as we speak to discuss the future of Ross Lyon,” Gossage told SEN Breakfast.

“I’m not saying that happened, but it just won’t go away and to brutally honest, it’s not being driven by us in Western Australia, we know nothing, it’s almost being driven by the media coming out of Melbourne.

“Yesterday at training he was up and about, he was relaxed, David Mundy spoke about his demeanour and his commitment to the cause.

"I don't know what to believe, I don't know who to believe and to be brutally honest something could happen at 9am this morning, you just don't know,” he said.

Gossage said the club has been air-tight on this since rumours of it surfaced late last year.

“On December 21 I made numerous amount of calls to the football club to a lot of contacts I had at the football club and not one person responded,” he said.

“Not one person messaged back, rang back at all and to this day any time I’ve put feelers out to talk about the issue, not one person has responded.”
