Luke Parker has been cleared for his bump on Hawthorn forward Jarman Impey in last night’s victory over the Hawks.
Parker’s hip made contact with Impey’s head in the fourth quarter last night which forced him to come from the ground under the blood rule.
Read MRO Michael Christian’s statement.
“Impey approaches Cunningham who is being tackled by Henderson. Cunningham handballs through Impey’s legs in Parker’s direction, Impey turns around to take possession of the ball, while Parker simultaneously turns sides on and lowers his body to take possession of the ball. Impey taps the ball away from Parker’s outstretched hands between his legs, and high contact is made between Impey and Parker. It was the view of the MRO that Parker was contesting the ball and had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball.”
Do you agree with the MRO’s decision not to suspend Luke Parker?

Gerard Whateley and Bob Murphy both believed Parker had to be suspended on SEN’s Crunch Time.
