Greater Western Sydney is finally set to receive some positive news on the injury front, with Josh Kelly and Toby Greene very close to returning, according to veteran defender Heath Shaw.
The Giants have been savaged by injuries in the first part of the 2018 season, but the tide could be about to turn.
“I think there’s a big chance we might have Josh Kelly and Toby Greene,” Shaw told SEN Breakfast.
“They’re two pretty handy inclusions for the team but we’ll make a decision on them later in the week.”
Kelly hasn’t played since Round 3, while Greene hasn’t played since Round 5.
The Giants battle North Melbourne on Saturday afternoon.
