Terry Wallace has been involved in footy for 40 years and has played with and coached some great players during his time.
There’s also been a host of unsung heroes who don’t quite get the recognition they deserve.
On SEN Afternoons, Plough revealed the top four most underrated players he has dealt with in his time as both a player and a coach.
Here’s Terry’s top four in order:
1. David O’Halloran
Hawthorn / 160 games / 1976-1985
“David O’Halloran at his best was an absolute gun.”
2. Mark Hunter
Footscary / 130 games / 1988-1996
“You would get four brilliant games out of him and then he would be done for a month.”
3. Steve Kretiuk
Western Bulldogs / 170 games / 1992-2003
“Pound for pound, he was as good a player as I can remember.”
4. Nathan Foley
Richmond / 154 games / 2004-2015
“He was getting tagged by people like Cameron Ling and doing a number on them.”
