“No one is beating Golden State four times” says Bogut

2018-05-22T16:25+10:00

Former NBA star Andrew Bogut believes it’s inevitable that the Golden State Warriors will defend their NBA crown and claim their sixth championship overall.

Last year’s champions are currently 2-1 up against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals with game four being played at the Oracle Arena on Tuesday.

The number one pick in the 2005 NBA draft says no team from either the West or the East is capable of defeating the Warriors four times in a series.

“No one is beating Golden State four times, that’s my two cents,” Bogut told SEN Afternoons.

“I think you might get them once or twice if you play your lights out, but to beat them four times of seven is almost mission impossible.

“They’re my pick to win it all. I don’t care who comes out of the East, I don’t think they’re winning it."

In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers levelled their series against the Boston Celtics with a 111-102 win on the back of 44 points, five rebounds and three assists from Lebron James.

The series is tied at 2-2 with game five being played on Thursday in Boston.
