It’s official!
Jordan De Goey has officially signed a two-year deal to remain at the Pies, knocking back potentially massive offers from the likes of North Melbourne and St Kilda.
It was reported early in the week the Roos offered the former first round draft pick a five million dollar contract.
He joins Brayden Sier, Jaidyn Stephenson, Matthew Scharenberg, James Aish, Ben Reid, Nathan Murphy, Callum Brown, Tyler Brown and Max Lynch to re-sign at Collingwood this year.
Former Western Bulldogs midfielder Adam Cooney praised De Goey for his decision.
"It's a mature decision for a young fella who's probably had a lot of money thrown at him," Cooney said.
