Former St Kilda captain Danny Frawley believes Collingwood is better off chasing Gold Coast defender Steven May, as opposed to Tom Lynch
It’s been reported the Magpies are interested in both Suns co-captains, and Frawley is of the notion the key defender will provide greater value.

“I think Collingwood would benefit more with Steven May than Tom Lynch,” he told SEN Breakfast.
“I’ve got no doubting that. Steven May is in the top three or four defenders in the comp and what he does aggressively off the ball is outstanding, within the rules.
“He creates so much spillages with his attack on the contest.
“He is a leader up there, he is strong and I’m not sure what Tom Lynch is like as a leader.
“If it’s purely on leadership, on what I see on the field, as a person who sits behind the fence, Steven May is poles and miles in front of Tom Lynch.”
Lynch is out of contract at the end of this season, while May will qualify for free agency at the end of next season.
