Sydney dealt big blow ahead of Geelong clash

2018-07-04T18:45+10:00

Sydney midfielder Isaac Heeney has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s match against Geelong due to concussion.

Heeney was concussed during last week’s loss to Richmond and has failed to come up in time before the SCG meeting with the Cats.

Gary Rohan (hamstring) and James Rose (shoulder) have also been ruled out.

Dan Robinson, Dean Towers and Robbie Fox will replace the trio.

Geelong welcome back tough inside midfielder Scott Selwood in a timely return ahead of what is expected to be a physical encounter against the Swans.

Jamaine Jones has also been included with Jordan Cunico and James Parsons both being omitted.
