"We've got a great list" says Carlton President Mark LoGiudice

2018-07-18T10:26+10:00

Carlton President Mark LoGiudice has stated that Carlton have a ‘great list’ this morning on SEN’s Whateley.

Carlton currently sit on the bottom of the ladder with just one win, and have come under fire this season for a number of poor performances, the most recent being a 64-point loss to 15th-placed St Kilda last Friday night.

LoGiudice, however, believes the Blues performances are not a true reflection of their playing list.

“I would say yes because I don’t think you can get any worse results than what we’ve had,” said LoGiudice on whether Carlton has bottomed out this season.

“But again, I don’t think it’s a reflection on our team.

“It’s not a reflection on the list that we’ve got.

“We’ve got a great list that we’ve built.

“We said we were going to rebuild the list, we said we were going to go to three drafts and bring in a group of young players that would be the future of the Carlton Football Club.

“We’ve done that and we’ve done that extremely well.

“We’ve got this void of players between age 22 and 27 and we’ve been decimated by injury this year.

“On top of that, the inconsistencies in the team, having four to five players different in the team each week has made it difficult, but I can only see upside from here.”
