SEN Time On host Sam McClure says he wouldn’t rule out both Tom Lynch and Steven May departing the Gold Coast Suns this year.
It is expected Lynch will leave the Suns at the conclusion of the season, with reports indicating May, who has one more year remaining on his current deal, will follow him out.
According to McClure, Gold Coast isn’t keen on enduring another year of constant speculation surrounding May.

“I wouldn’t rule out both captains leaving this year,” he told SEN Breakfast.
“I don’t think the Gold Coast Suns want to go into next year with another full season of speculation around the captain leaving.
“I think they want Steven May to re-sign for a longer term or to leave.
“I don’t think they will give him an ultimatum, I think they would prefer one of those two things to happen, rather going into next year with just one year on his contract.”
