Saints midfielder Nathan Freeman continues to put his hand up for selection in the VFL.
He gathered 35 disposals, took 13 marks and kicked a goal in what was a dominant display.
St Kilda seems reluctant to play the 23-year-old until he’s absolutely ready, but given the side’s form and his continued VFL dominance, it’s getting harder and harder to deny him.
Freeman was taken with pick 10 in the 2013 National Draft and is yet to make his AFL debut with injury setback after setback holding him down.
Despite his performance, Sandringham was no match for the Box Hill Hawks who won by five goals.
Mitchell Lewis kicked two goals for the Hawks, while Conor Glass picked up 20 disposals.
