Fremantle veteran David Mundy believes the Dockers can aim to qualify for the finals next season.
Mundy and Fremantle reached an agreement on a one-year extension today, and the 33-year-old is hopeful the club can next year make strides into September for the first time since 2015.
“I think so,” he told SEN Afternoons, when asked if he thinks finals are a realistic goal for the Dockers next year.
“I think this year has been frustrating at times but I think we have seen, within it, some real growth and progression in our next step, our next phase of really key players.
“Guys who have been around the football club for two-to-three years have really taken some big strides forward in their own personal development and output.
“The football team hasn’t obviously got the wins that we would have liked and hasn’t been challenging for finals, but I think within that, we have seen some really positive growth signs from some of our key players.”
