Fox Sports is reporting Eagles ruckman Scott Lycett is set to head home to South Australia and join Port Adelaide in the upcoming trade period.
In doing so, he’s rejecting what many have described as a massive offer from St Kilda.
West Coast, preparing for a Qualifying Final, has been resigned to losing the ruckman for a while.
The Eagles will be without Nic Naitanui next year as he recovers from an ACL injury and Lycett has taken over the main duties for them in his absence.
They’re reportedly set to target highly rated Bulldogs youngster Tim English, teammate Jordan Roughead or St Kilda’s Tom Hickey to add some depth to the position.
