Fremantle coach Ross Lyon didn’t take kindly to Lachie Neale’s decision to seek a move to Brisbane, according to the Herald Sun’s Sam Edmund.
Neale has been heavily linked to the Lions, with a trade between the two parties a real possibility – something that didn’t please Lyon.
“The whisper is that Ross Lyon, in that exit meeting, didn’t take too kindly,” Edmund told SEN Breakfast.
“He might have been heard down the corridors there at the Fremantle Football Club. Not too happy with Lachie Neale’s decision.”
Neale averaged 30.3 disposals per game for the Dockers this season, and is a favourite to win the club’s Best and Fairest.
