Hannebery’s future has been a topic of conversation throughout the season, and the report states the 27-year-old made his intentions known to coach John Longmire in his exit interview today.
St Kilda has been linked to Hannebery all year, and the Saints are confident of securing his services.
Fox Sports reports St Kilda is “adamant internally” pick five won’t be traded for Hannebery.
Hannebery is a three-time All-Australian, but played below his optimal level this season, averaging 18.7 disposals per game.
