Sydney midfielder Dan Hannebery has revealed St Kilda is the sole club he is dealing with at this stage.
The contracted Swans player has already told the side he wishes to return home to Victoria.
“Yep, St Kilda exclusively,” Hannebery told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
"I've had a number of conversations with John Longmire and Tom Harley. Both parties think it's the right call (to leave).
"I thought I'd be a Swan for life. But we thought it could be a good opportunity to part ways. It all just happened spontaneously."
Hannebery’s agent Paul Connors added that Sydney will need to be equally willing to get involved in the trade, given the midfielder’s status as a contracted player.
“For Dan’s trade to get through, there’s got to be a willingness from both parties,” Connors said.
“Dan’s not going anywhere if they’re desperate to keep him.”
