Melbourne has met with Gold Coast captain Steven May as he continues to ponder his future, according to The Age.
The report also states Essendon have shown their interest in the key defender.
The Herald Sun’s Sam Edmund told SEN Breakfast yesterday Collingwood players have already been told May will be joining the club.
May has one year remaining on his contract at the Suns, but the club could be willing to trade him if he declares he wants to depart once he hits free agency.
Gold Coast is also likely to lose key forward Tom Lynch to Richmond.
