Three-time All-Australian Nick Dal Santo thinks Collingwood’s turnover issues could come back to haunt them in tonight’s Preliminary Final.
“I think the Tigers win and the reason for that is watching the Pies over a period of time, they turn the ball over like everybody else,” Dal Santo told SEN Afternoons.
“Looking back to last week’s game, I didn’t think the Giants made them pay for it, they only kicked nine goals for the game.
“You turn that ball over that amount of times against the Tigers, unfortunately you don’t touch it again.”
Richmond is ranked first in the AFL for points off turnovers, and forced turnovers per game, with a +8.8 differential
The Pies and Tigers haven’t met in a final since 1980, with the two Victorian powerhouses tipped to battle in front of 100,000 fans at the MCG tonight.
