Greater Western Sydney defender Jeremy Finlayson will explore trade options this off-season, according to AFL.com.au.
Finlayson signed a two-year extension with the Giants earlier this year, but the club is seeking to avoid a looming salary cap squeeze.
"Jeremy was told in his exit interview that the club was open to exploring options ahead of the trade period," Finlayson’s manager, Dave Trotter, told the AFL website.
"This was unexpected but we will have a look around and if there is something there we will explore it, but if not Jeremy has got two years remaining on his contract and both he and the club are more than happy for him to stay.
"The club and Jeremy will work through things together before any decision is made."
Finlayson, 22, debuted in 2017 and has played a total of 15 games for GWS.
