Collingwood star Adam Treloar has reflected on his choice to join the Magpies over Richmond in 2015.

Despite the Tigers winning last year’s premiership, Treloar says he has no regrets in signing up with the Pies.

“Honestly, hand on heart, I can promise you there is no questioning my decision,” he told SEN’s Time On.

“I never regret anything I’ve ever done.

“Of course there’s thoughts like, the year I left the Giants, the following year they played in the prelim final and were one kick away from making a Grand Final.

“When it comes to the Richmond Collingwood thing, I’ve never ever thought that if I was at Richmond, I would be a premiership player.

“I’ve never thought that whatsoever. That’s out of the picture.

“When it comes to the Giants, absolutely, because I love that footy club, I couldn’t speak more highly of them, I love I was apart of the foundation.

“My decision wasn’t based of footy or teams or anything, it was based on me wanting to come home and be around family and friends, and when I chose Collingwood, I knew this was the club I wanted to play for and the one I want to be with for the rest of my life.

“I bleed black and white, that’s my footy club and it always will be now.”

Treloar has a chance to become a premiership player with Collingwood in Saturday’s Grand Final against West Coast.
