Pickering: "If they want Darcy Moore to stay, he'll stay"

2018-09-29T11:08+10:00

With the trade period around the corner, prominent AFL player agent Liam Pickering has said the “ball is in Collingwood’s court” when it comes to whether Darcy Moore remains at the club.

Moore is out of contract and has been heavily linked to a move to the Swans.

Pickering however said Moore will likely remain a Pie beyond 2018.

“If they want Darcy to stay, he’ll stay. We’re just negotiating a deal at the moment,” Pickering told SEN’s Off the Bench.

“The reality is, he wants to stay. The ball is in Collingwood’s court.

“We haven’t done a deal yet, but I’m confident we will.

“I can’t see why (Collingwood would) let a 22-year-old bloke who can play every key position plus ruck, why would you let a bloke that athletically talented go?

“I haven’t hassled them this week, it’s Grand Final week. We’ll start talking again on Monday.”
