Nick Dal Santo has labelled Dom Sheed’s winning goal in West Coast’s Grand Final win over Collingwood as a “boyhood dream”.
Dal Santo also expressed how the narrative of Sheed’s 2018 campaign is one that will be forever remembered.

“Sheed is an amazing player and an amazing story,” Dal Santo told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
“I almost feel like Sheed isn’t in their best team, and I know that sounds crazy, but Luke Shuey does his hamstring going back 12-15 odd weeks, Sheed steps up in the midfield and finds a heap of the football.
“Andrew Gaff makes a horrific mistake, and he (Sheed) comes in and plays his role again in the midfield.
“Fast track to last Saturday and he was so significant and had such an impact. He finds the football, that has never been ones of his issues.
“That kick…that is boyhood dream sort of stuff.”
Sheed recorded 32 disposals in the Eagles’ five-point victory.
