St Kilda legend Robert Harvey could be returning to the Saints as an assistant coach.
Former St Kilda coach Tim Watson revealed the news this morning, believing it would be a positive addition to Alan Richardson’s staff.
SEN Breakfast with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson can be heard Monday-Friday 6-9am, and you can subscribe to the podcast here.
“I’m talking about a little story I heard yesterday about maybe Robert Harvey going back to St Kilda,” Watson told SEN Breakfast.
“I’m not suggesting he is going to take over from Richo, I’m just saying he might go back to St Kilda apparently as an assistant.
“Why wouldn’t you go after somebody from Collingwood, Rob Harvey has been around a long time in football circles.
“He has been there and had a great grounding. The wealth of experience he would have accumulated over that period of time, riding the highs and lows at Collingwood.
“I think he would be a great addition to the coaching panel.”
The Saints have signed Brett Ratten and Brendon Lade as new assistant coaches for 2019.
