Hawks have had a “little nibble” at Casboult

2018-10-03T09:46+10:00

Hawthorn is exploring the possibility of acquiring Carlton’s Levi Casboult, according to Sam Edmund of the Herald Sun.

“Levi Casboult has been put on the trade table by Carlton,” Edmund told SEN Breakfast.

“It’s early doors but we are hearing Hawthorn may have had a little nibble at Levi. You’d probably wait for that one and do it late in the period.”

Casboult played 10 games this season, booting 12 goals.

Garry Lyon believes Gold Coast should have a crack at Casboult, due to the great player retention struggles they’ve faced.

“Gold Coast, they’ve been decimated, continue to be decimated…Casboult is the sort of player they just grab,” Lyon said.
