Geelong star Tim Kelly has requested a trade to West Coast, according to NAB AFL Trade Radio’s Sam McClure.
Kelly has been heavily linked with a move back to his native state of Western Australia after starring in his debut season at AFL level for the Cats.

“There’s been a lot of speculation about the status of Geelong first-year player Tim Kelly,” McClure told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
“There have been murmurs that he may want out. We can tell you officially this morning that Tim Kelly has requested – from the Geelong Football Club - a trade to the West Coast Eagles.

“The Cats understand this and they’re willing to work with Tim and West Coast, but they have been fairly strong in saying to Tim that if a deal can’t get done, then we wish you to fulfil your contract next year.
“My understanding is that Tim is fully receptive of that.”
