2018-10-11T17:25+11:00

1116 SEN's Sam McClure has revealed Fremantle’s deal to bring Melbourne forward Jesse Hogan to the club is on the brink of collapsing.

McClure says the Dockers aren’t willing to offer more than a future second round pick and pick 11 for Hogan.

“There’s some significant developing news out of the Jesse Hogan deal, which as we speak, is in danger of falling apart,” Hogan told SEN’s KB and The Doc.

“Fremantle have basically told the Melbourne Football Club their final offer will be a future second round pick and pick 11 for Jesse Hogan.

“They’ve brought him to the club and toured him around the club for about four hours.

“They’ve gone after him for the last three, perhaps even four, seasons at the trade table and this is the year that Jesse has agreed to go and Melbourne are willing to get the deal done.

“They still want him, they’re just trying to get him cheap.”

The 23-year-old is contracted until the end of 2019
