Is this what is holding up Hannebery’s move to St Kilda?

2018-10-11T16:08+11:00

Herald Sun journalist Sam Edmund says Dan Hannebery’s move to St Kilda has been put on hold due to Sydney’s wish to complete a deal for Collingwood defender Tom Langdon.

According to Edmund, a deal to bring Hannebery to Moorabbin was close to being finalised, but the Swans have turned their attentions to securing the services of the out of contract Langdon, with Fremantle also understood to be an interested party.

“Dan Hannebery’s move to St Kilda is on hold,” Edmund said.

“The midfielder’s trade from Sydney isn't in jeopardy, but has been parked.

“The Saints and Swans got very close to an agreement this morning, but it's understood the Swans want to secure Tom Langdon first.”

St Kilda GM of Football Simon Lethlean stated a deal between the two clubs for Hannebery was imminent.
