The former players Fleming nominates for high performance role

2018-11-08T13:01+11:00

Damien Fleming says Michael Kasprowicz or Stuart Clark should put their hands up for the vacant high performance role at Cricket Australia.

Former high performance boss Pat Howard was another victim of the Cricket Australia exodus yesterday, and Fleming has explained the type of candidate he thinks should be hired.

“For that sort of role, you’d like the guys who have played for Australia but have also gone out in the business world,” Fleming told SEN Breakfast.

“Michael Kasprowicz is actually on the board of Cricket Australia at the moment, but he has gone out working, in particular with relationships with the Indian government and Australian government.

“Stuart Clark, who is a lawyer, great fast bowler, I would like to see those two to put their hand up.

“They would be fantastic in that role.”
