Gold Coast are weighing up a move for former St Kilda midfielder Nathan Freeman, according to The Age.
The Suns are considering picking up Freeman as a delisted free agent after he was culled by the Saints at the end of the 2018 season
Freeman, 23, has played just two AFL games in five years due to a series of soft tissue injuries after being initially drafted by Collingwood in the 2013 National Draft.
Gold Coast's GM of List & Strategy, Craig Cameron, confirmed the former top 10 pick has toured the club’s facilities.
"We have been having a talk to Nathan; he has come up and had a look at the facilities. Like many clubs we would like to add some pace, and Nathan has that," Cameron said.
"He will have a medical ... clearly it is well known he has had problems over his time in the AFL system, but he also played a lot of football this year in the VFL and then the two AFL games at the end of the season."
