Champion Data has released their draft rankings for 2018, with a surprise at the top.
Last year, they had Richmond livewire Jack Higgins ranked at number one and his stellar first season would show they had it closer than his eventual draft position of 17.
Cameron Rayner (pick one), Jaidyn Stephenson (pick six), Andrew Brayshaw (pick two) and Luke Davies-Uniacke (pick four) rounded out their top five.
This year, South Australian prospect Izak Rankine tops the list, despite many draft experts believing Carlton will take midfielder Sam Walsh at number one.
Walsh sits second on Champion Data’s rankings.
