Fremantle star out eight weeks after procedure

2018-12-07T07:11+11:00

Stephen Hill is set to miss eight weeks of training after undergoing a medical procedure on his quad.

According to the Herald Sun, he reportedly experienced discomfort while kicking during pre-season training.

Hill only managed 13 games in 2018, averaging 18 disposals.

Fremantle footy boss Peter Bell said Hill will be back running after two months.

“Options to rectify the issue were considered by our medical team, with the specialist’s advice being that Stephen undergo a procedure to remove the scar tissue on his quad,” Bell said.

“Stephen had the procedure on Monday and the medical advice following his recovery is that he will be able to resume running in six to eight weeks.”
