Carlton co-captain Docherty suffers suspected ACL injury

Carlton defender Sam Docherty has gone down with another ACL injury at training on Monday afternoon, according to the Herald Sun.

Docherty missed the entire 2018 season after rupturing his ACL at a pre-season session in November last year.

The 25-year-old was recently named as co-captain for the 2019 season along with star midfielder Patrick Cripps.

It’s a monumental blow for the Blues and their hopes of climbing up the ladder after winning just two games last season.
