Indian great Rahul Dravid produced two of his finest and most important innings of his career to lead the tourists to a famous victory over Australia at the Adelaide Oval in 2003.
In response to Australia’s mammoth first innings total of 556, India fell to 4/88 and were starring down the barrel of a 1-0 series deficit.
Dravid found a familiar alliance with VVS Laxman and the pair went about taking the Aussie attack apart piling on a 303-run partnership with Dravid the final man out for 233 after an epic knock.
Trailing by 33 runs, India turned the game on its head by bowling out the hosts for 196 in their second innings, leaving them 230 runs to win the Test.
Dravid once again proved to be an immovable force in the chase, hitting an unbeaten 72 to lead India to a memorable six-wicket victory.
