Three-time All-Australian Nick Dal Santo has expressed his excitement about the Brisbane Lions heading into 2019, declaring they can make a “significant jump” up the ladder.
The Lions finished 15th in 2018, missing the finals for the ninth straight year.
However, with the injection of Lachie Neale into the midfield, Dal Santo believes Chris Fagan’s men could make the leap this season, after showing immense promise throughout the 2018 campaign.

“I’m excited about the Brisbane Lions,” Dal Santo told SEN Breakfast.
“I think they could have a significant jump up the ladder this year.”
Brisbane opens their 2019 season against reigning premier West Coast at The Gabba on Saturday March 23.
