Carlton has provided injury updates on forwards Mitch McGovern (back) and Jarrod Pickett (knee).
Both went down with injuries at training in the lead-up to Christmas, but it’s better news for McGovern.
The star recruit will “gradually” make his way back into training, according to the Carlton website.
Pickett meanwhile underwent surgery to repair his patella tendon.
He’s expected to remain in a brace for the next month.
Will Setterfield, who’s recovering from an ACL tear, will also be reintegrated back into training over the month of January.
