Brisbane captain Dayne Zorko has praised the new additions to his club, saying they’ve all helped add maturity to what is a young and growing team.
The Lions were quite active in the last trade period and after a positive 2018 season, will be hoping to climb further up the ladder.
“Lachie Neale, Jarryd Lyons, Lincoln McCarthy and Marcus Adams have all been great additions to the football club,” Zorko told SEN’s The Captain’s Run.
“What they’ve been able to bring from their clubs has been great for our football club.
“Especially adding the likes of Charlie Cameron and Luke Hodge over the last two seasons.
“We’ve really added a lot of maturity and a lot of great leadership and Lachie Neale is no different to that.”
Zorko expects Neale to have just as big an influence behind the scenes as on the field.
“He’s a class player, but what he’s been able to provide off-field for our emerging players has been very beneficial for our football club.”
